India Glazes Ltd. was established in 1996. It is a family owned enterprise. With over fifty-five years of experience starting from raw jute trading to manufacturing the final products of the Jute fiber, our chairman, Mr. Bhagirath Kankani, has been actively invoved in the company. He was closely associated to the farmers, who were involved in Jute farming. He always had a vision, where he would love to see this eco-friendly fiber reach all across the world. His experience and vision helped the next generataion to take the leap in the right direction. The current management at India Glazes involves Raj Chandak, Neel Kankani and Manish Kankani from the family.

The manufacturing unit located at Madhyamgram where the best practices of the industry are promoted and followed. The ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 and Social Audit 8000 has been successfully implemented in the company. Recently due to increased demand for Organic cotton, the company got certified for GOTS and created a separate work area for the Organic division. Recently, Sedex 2-Pillar audit was completed successfully. The product line involves manufacturing ecofriendly Jute and Cotton bags for promotion, bags for packaging, gifting, wine bags, Christmas bags, and grocery bags. In recent years we have added home furnishing items like aprons, kitchen towel, mittens, and pot holders. We specialize in customized garden products. 

India Glazes is a major supplier of promotional bags to the PPAI, ASI, PSI and IGC promotional members across USA and Europe. It is supplier to retail chain like Hobby Lobby in USA and to wholesale importers across the world. We are well convesant working with retail chains where goods are sent to various DC's. Every product goes through our QC team, before it leaves the warehouse. Qualtity and on-time delivery is what we value the most.

An associate company of India Glazes Ltd., by the name of SB Zircon Pvt. Ltd.  is involved in manufacturing Zirconium Opacifier, which is used by all the ceramic tile manufacturers in India. This is a thrity year old manufacturing unit located in Faridabad, India. The raw material is imported from Australia and South Africa. The entire processing is done in-house and is dispatched to the largest ceramic tile manufacturers of the country like Somany Tiles and Kajaria Ceramics. SB Zircon Pvt. Ltd., is the largest manufacturer of Zirconium Opacifier in the entire North India. This unit is headed by Shyam Kankani, who is Fellow of Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant (CWA). He has over thirty years of experience in manufacturing Zirconium Opacifier.

India Glazes have been actively involved in various CSR activities. In the past, charity was performed under  “Surajmal Chandak Charitable Trust”, which runs a  hospital in  Sujangarh,  a rural town in the State of  Rajasthan, giving free treatment to the needy. Multiple charitable organizations are being supported by our organization. The charity works were recognized by the social organization “ India  International  Friendship  Society “, which presented Mr. Bhagirath Kankani an award for “Enriching Human Life, Outstanding Attainment“.  The award was presented by the former President of India, Giani Zail Singh.
